London On The Line
At the airport (again, second time in a week at YVR alone). Off to London (which is great at Christmas time so it’s not so bad). I’m flying British Airways for the first time. So far the fight is late by two hours… but at least they phoned me at work to let me know. Nice.
The whole week since I got home from Montreal has been a blur. Had the usual round of local shipping industry Christmas parties (which I’m thankfully still invited to) and got the chance to catch up with a lot of good old friends and colleagues. It’s hard to believe I’ve been out of the thick of it for almost five years now.
I’m giving MarsEdit a try as my new weblog editor. Perhaps it will increase the frequency of more original content posts. So far it’s a nice change, but I’m having to be more specific with my paragraph breaks and a few other minor formatting things than I usually have to be inside the web interface, that probably means I don’t know the details of it all yet. Either this will make it easier for me to post or I’ve got to start avoiding the to do list a little more in order to chat with you all. Will try and write more from London, and snap a few shots of the Christmas scenes. Later.
