Green power is electric energy generated using environmentally friendly renewable and reusable resources, such as solar, wind, biomass, and water. Working with other utilities, renewable energy generators, environmentalists, and regulators, Duke Power collaborated on a statewide effort to develop a green power program for North Carolina utility customers.”
Cool idea. Seems like giving consumers the choice to ‘buy’ energy that’s green is the best way to move this market forward.
