Crane Watch
For as long as I can remember my good friend, and former university roomate Frank [aka Grant] has been obsessed with high rise construction cranes. Next to his current apartment, he (along with his patient wife) now have to put up with the annoying sounds of a massive construction project (why can they only jackhammer between 7 am and 10 am) that just started. The plus side is of course…Grant can chronicle just how these cranes (that are eventually too tall for mobile cranes) put up themselves. “I am up and awaiting the erection of the crane. So far I can report that it is still not light out, as the sun hasn’t risen. There is one vehicle that has shown up for work…make that 3 another two just pulled in. I am getting ready to go down and start snapping pictures. There have been eraly, although unconfirmed reports that someone was using the outhouse down there…Stay tuned here for continual updates on the crane”
